| Every year, the AOS judges in Ann
Arbor, MI have a weekend-long training seminar and devote it to one group of
orchids. This year (2007) was to be for the Vandaceous alliance including
phalaenopsis. They decided to divide it into two (2) parts - the Vandaceaous
group excluding phalaenopsis (2007) and Phalaenopsis (2008).
